'Rise Up', the Song

One of the most talented blues musicians and lyricists that I know, Scott Ramminger, next month will release a new album, "Rise UP," with the cover song calling attention to what he calls "the madness" that has enveloped our nation.
Mass shootings, crooked politicians, Russia's meddling in our elections, global warming, hunger, bigotry, the rise of tyranny and hate all are addressed in "Rise Up."
"We've got to stop this madness before it's too late," intones Ramminger, who also plays the sax on the on album. "Nothing will get better if we sit around and wait."
I urge you to check out "Rise Up." Just click on the video above, which Scott has allowed Not Fake News to preview. While you're at it, check out more of Ramminger's work at www.scottramminger.com.
Here are the complete lyrics to "Rise Up."
Another school shooting
But it barely makes the news
Russians and elections
Politicians getting used
There’s trouble in the ozone
Trouble on the street
Way too many people
Don’t even have enough to eat
Synagogues get vandalized
Immigrants vilified
People packing sidearms
With hatred in their eyes
Prejudice and bigotry
Are gaining everyday
Too many folks just shrug it off
And look the other way
We’ve got to stop this madness
Before it’s too late
Nothing will get better
If we sit around and wait
Come on people
Enough is enough
It’s time to get moving
We’ve got to rise up….
(Organ Solo)
Decency is vanishing
Along with privacy
There’s a whole lot of trouble
From Washington DC
Tyranny is on the rise
Zealots on the loose
Tolerance and kindness
Have both gotten the boot
We’ve got to stop this madness
Before it’s too late
Nothing will get better
If we sit around and wait
Come on people
Enough is enough
It’s time to get moving
We’ve got to rise up….
(Sax Solo)
We’re cutting down the taxes
Of the people who can pay
And squeezing all the other folks
It makes me sad to say
We’ve learned to accept lying
By the leaders of our land
Integrity is laughed at
It’s time to take stand…
(Chorus With One-Bar Jump on the End)(Chorus)(Outro)

A sidenote:
Scott tried to promote "Rise Up" on Facebook, but censors there said no, it was too controversial. My question is this to Facebook: What happened to free speech and freedom of expression? What? Has the Trump administration infiltrated your "appropriateness review team?"
