Debbie Winkler Askew, of www.humanedomain.net, and a loyal Not Fake News member, submitted this photo of Fred, a baby mini-donkey housed on her farm in Maryland.
Deb reports that Fred, less than six weeks old in this pic, is the offspring of a rescued mom and will soon be in training for the Humane Domain's animal assisted therapy and humane education programs.
Deb says Fred is in the "imprinting stage," meaning that he won't begin eating for between six months and one year of age. Damn! How do they do that?
Thanks, Deb, for sharing this adorable pic of Fred with our Not Fake News tribe.
