Most people think of a unicorn as a horse with a single horn protruding from its forehead, and that's what a man who robbed a convenience store near Baltimore, MD was trying to emulate when he made off with some cigarettes and cash early this morning.
But one definition in the Urban Dictionary says a unicorn is a "girl you can't catch." Here's more:
Everything about her is so perfect (divine, if you will) getting with her is unfathomable. She is truly a blessing from God. Bumping into her on the sidewalk is a good day. "Dude, did you just see that broad? I think I just found my unicorn. Now how do I go about talking to her?" “That girl is a ten for sure.” “No bro, she’s not a ten - she’s beyond a ten. She’s my unicorn.”
Well, that may be the street definition of a unicorn, but it certainly doesn't apply to the one that robbed that High's store near Baltimore. First of all, it was a guy. and second, he got caught.
According to Baltimore County police, at about 5:22 a.m.,officers responded to a report of a robbery at the High's store in Baldwin only to find that the perp was a man dressed as a unicorn and wielding a crowbar. After stealing the money and smokes, he fled the scene in his car, which crashed several miles away.
The cops were then able to nab the unicorn, who apparently was injured in the crash along with one other person. Both were taken to the hospital, where the unicorn crook was in custody.
Detectives in the police department's robbery division are investigating the incident.
So much for unicorns being a "perfect" female who you can't catch!
